MUST University doesn’t have an address?

MUST University doesn’t have an address?

When I heard that, I began to wonder how that was possible. After all, a university of MUST University’s repute, and it doesn’t have a street address? Very hard to digest, to be honest with you. But I was intrigued enough to find out more. And then I found out: Of course MUST doesn’t have an address. It’s online! You Google “Address for MUST University” and nothing comes up! Naturally not.

You must be wondering what’s gotten into me. But if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. If you are an online university, like MUST, and you dealt with your customers, or in this case, your students, entirely over the Internet, how can you possibly have a street address? That’s just my point: You can’t! This is just one of the key features that distinguish online-only universities such as MUST from traditional universities, which give you no other option but physical attendance (think Harvard), and so-called hybrid universities, which offer online-only AS WELL AS on-campus courses (think University of Phoenix).

So, why do people not get it? The problem is that the concept of online education is a fairly new one, and has yet to gain acceptance in the academic community. Wouldn’t you have your qualms about something that was fairly new in the market and you were still trying to figure out what it was? Same case here.

But there’s nothing to be worried about. Just because there is no physical address doesn’t mean that these universities don’t exist. Of course they do. Why else would thousands of students enrol each year and then pass out with honours, only to find great jobs in the most lucrative professions? Why do employers entertain graduates from these universities when they apply for jobs? There has to be something behind it, don’t you think?
